Undercover Dumpster Fire isn’t just a podcast. It’s a movement for truth, healing, and grit—recorded with real first responders, veterans, trauma survivors, and mental health advocates.

Whether you're joining us in person or remotely, here’s what to expect:

🧩 Step 1: Initial Discussion

You'll meet with Matt Pitcher, retired undercover detective and podcast co-host, to:

  • Discuss your background and potential talking points

  • Review general podcast guidelines

  • Make sure your story aligns with our mission and values

  • Answer any questions you have—confidentially and respectfully

📆 Step 2: Scheduling & Coordination

Matt will coordinate the episode timing with:

  • Willy Bearden (co-host + trauma therapist)

  • Eric Reynolds (“Keto5O,” co-host + former LEO + resilience coach)

  • Any other relevant peer supporters or guest speakers

Once your participation is confirmed, you’ll receive a calendar invite and a secure login link if joining remotely.

🎧 Step 3: Tech & Prep Support

We’ll send you a quick checklist with tips on:

  • How to set up your device

  • Audio and camera best practices

  • Creating a quiet and private space

  • How to take care of yourself before and after sharing

🔐 Step 4: Safety, Ethics & Release Forms

Because we care about your story and safety:

  • We are HIPAA-conscious, trauma-informed, and never exploitative

  • If you share protected health information, we’ll handle it with care

  • If you become an ongoing volunteer, we’ll provide an NDA for mutual privacy and protection

  • You’ll sign a media release form before recording
