CLIMB Protocol

Connect. Leverage. Interrupt. Move. Build.
A Tactical Trauma Reset — Deployed by SCURD

CLIMB is a 3-tier trauma-reset system for first responders, military veterans, and trauma-exposed professionals. It’s not therapy in a circle — it’s a body-first, peer-led, clinician-supported protocol grounded in real-world function, mobility, and reset.

CLIMB is deployed by SCURD — the Southern Continental Unified Response Division — a fictional public safety agency with a real mission: restore the nervous system, reengage purpose, and rebuild the disaster workforce from the inside out.

CLIMB is licensed through Challenger Point Practice PLLC and guided by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, peer specialists, and medical advisors.

CLIMB Tiers of Care

Tier 1 – Ground Team: Decon & Defuse

SCURD Reset Tent Deployment

Deployed in Rehab Zones, Staging Areas, Disaster Sites

  • Peer-led somatic reset & sensory regulation

  • Noise-canceling headphones (live music, stillness, mediation, comedy)

  • Weighted blankets, cold towels, hydration, grounding kits

  • VR calm environments, scent diffusers, soothing light

  • Live or streamed music always present

  • Certified therapy dogs on site

  • Functional screening & referral for Tier 2+

Tier 1 is Psychological First Aid – reimagined. It’s mobile, sensory-smart, and immediately effective.

Tier 2 – Reset Station: Reclaim & Rebuild

Mobile PHP-Level Reset Hubs (minimum 8 hours/day of structured experiences)

Deployed at partnered resorts, retreat spaces, and quiet zones near—but not inside—disaster impact areas.

Services include:

  • 8 hrs/day of structured nervous system resetting

  • Individual & group therapy

  • Trauma-informed movement (dance, BJJ-style rolling, martial arts, qi gong, silent disco)

  • Somatic therapy, acupuncture, massage

  • Journaling, integration coaching, peer-led activities

  • Therapy dogs + animal-assisted reset education

  • Lodging, food, laundry, transport, and gear included

  • Public, disaster, and behavioral health funds can offset full cost

Participants stay 5–14 days, are registered as clinical clients, and leave with a written discharge plan.

Tier 3 – Immersion Reset: Rise & Re-Enter

Mobile IRT-Compliant Reset (2–6 Weeks)

For those requiring deeper decompression and trauma reset:

  • PHP-level care with clinical team and MD/DO oversight

  • Full daily schedule of structured activities, therapy, and resets

  • FMLA/disability documentation, employer/family coordination

  • Lodging, meals, hygiene, laundry, gear provided

  • Discharge begins at intake: mapped, measured, mission-driven

  • Optional Peer Support Certification Track

  • All participants protected under HIPAA and CPP ethical care

Tier 3 meets mobile Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) standards. We rebuild nervous systems, reconnect purpose, and help responders re-enter life stronger than they came in.

🎖️ Peer Support Pathway: The SCURD Way

🐾 Therapy Dogs & Animal-Assisted Reset

Certified therapy dogs are integrated into all Tiers. Participants can also join animal-assisted resetting classes for grounding, emotional regulation, and connection. These are tools, not tricks — deployed with care and clinical awareness.
