Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Letters That Are Legit — Not From a Scam Site
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) can be a life-changing support for people living with PTSD, anxiety, or depression — but the process has to be done legally, ethically, and with a licensed clinician.
At Challenger Point Practice, we provide real ESA evaluations for people who need them — especially veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors. If you qualify, we’ll provide a properly documented letter that can help with housing accommodations under the Fair Housing Act.
❗ What ESAs Can Do:
-
Live with you in housing that typically doesn't allow pets
-
Offer emotional stability, regulation, and companionship for your condition
-
Be protected under fair housing law with proper documentation
🚫 What ESAs Can’t Do:
-
They do not have public access rights (restaurants, stores, flights, etc.)
-
Airlines no longer recognize ESAs under federal law
-
You cannot legally travel with an ESA as you would with a trained service dog
🧭 Think You Need Travel?
If you’re hoping to travel with your animal or need access beyond your home, what you likely need is a Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) evaluation.

We’ll walk you through what qualifies and how to legally move forward — no guesswork, no shady letters.
✅ What Makes Our ESA Evaluations Legit:
-
Conducted by a licensed trauma therapist (LPC/LMHC)
-
Insurance may cover the assessment
-
Compliant with state and federal regulations
-
Tailored to real mental health needs — no checklists, no AI, no shortcuts
