SCURD STATIONS

Where Resilience Gets a Home Base.
Fictional. Functional. Fiercely Real.

What Is SCURD?

SCURD — the Southern Continental Unified Response Division — is our fictitious but fully functional department that serves as a visceral, satirical, and field-tested model for what a trauma-informed emergency response system could actually look like.

Born from the fusion of body-first trauma recovery, responder culture, and lived experience, SCURD functions as both:

  • The narrative backdrop for Roll Call TV

  • A fully operational model for CLIMB Tier 1–3 deployment and training

Every trainee who completes the CLIMB Odyssey becomes part of SCURD — learning field readiness, peer leadership, deployment prep, and trauma-informed mission execution.

MULTI-USE FUNCTION. ONE MISSION.

Every SCURD Station serves as a:

  • 🚨 Tier 3 deployment site for embedded CLIMB Medical Teams

  • 🧠 CLIMB Reset training hub for nervous system regulation

  • 🛌 Lodging & retreat space for Tier 2 recovery and peer training

  • 🎥 Set for filming Roll Call TV and UDF storytelling projects

  • 🧳 Launchpad for mobile Reset Tents and rapid field response

  • 🔥 Recovery zone for responders who’ve carried too much, too long

  • 🤝 Collaboration center for nonprofits, agencies, clinicians, and peer leaders

  • ❄️🔥 Equipped with trauma-informed reset features (hot/cold immersion, movement zones, therapy rooms, debrief lounges

THE ELEMENTAL STATIONS (Core 4)

We are anchoring the first four SCURD Stations in natural elements, each chosen for its therapeutic power and environmental immersion.

⛰ EARTH – Station 7600

Challenger Point, CO – Elevation 14,087'
The Climb Begins Here.

  • Grounding. Stillness. Strength.

  • Altitude exposure and mountain climbing as spiritual and physical reset

  • Mountain-based Reset Tent operations and wilderness integration

  • Basecamp for our alpine Mobile CLIMB Medical Team

🌬 WIND – Station 6.5

South Padre Island, TX
Let Go. Fly. Breathe.

  • Sailing, parasailing, kite resets, and indoor skydiving

  • Wind-based rituals for velocity, perspective, and breathwork

  • Ideal for rapid-deploy training and movement-focused somatic integration

🌊 WATER – Station Zero

Marathon, Florida Keys
Submerge. Release. Return.

  • Ocean-based nervous system resets (snorkeling, scuba, aquatic breathwork)

  • Tents staged with sea breeze and trauma-informed aquatic therapies

  • Training ground for tropical disaster response and peer decompression teams

🔥 FIRE – Station 4091

Big Island, Hawaii
Burn What No Longer Serves You.

  • Volcano hikes, lava fields, equine therapy, fire circles

  • Highest-intensity station: spiritual trauma work, grief processing

  • Storytelling by the fire — where old identities die and new ones emerge

STAGED FOR CHAOS. BUILT FOR MISSION.

SCURD Stations are intentionally styled like real-world public safety hubs — with dayrooms, chalkboard shift schedules, fire poles, and gear lockers. But beneath the surface:

  • CLIMB Reset Zones

  • Peer Support Lounges

  • Bunkrooms & safe lodging

  • Creative recovery spaces

  • Trauma-informed architecture

  • Tactical decompression rituals

  • A blend of comedy, courage, and culture shift

“SCURD Stations are where responders stop surviving and start recovering.”

The Odyssey: Become CLIMB-Certified at a SCURD Station

All future CLIMB Peer Specialists and Team Leaders complete a 14-day Odyssey Certification at one of these stations. This immersive experience is a combination of:

  • Peer support training

  • Somatic trauma resets

  • Tactical debrief practice

  • Leadership and logistical operations

  • Lived experience integration and fear-facing rituals

Stations Zero, 6.5, 7600, and 4091 are the first four—but not the last. Additional elemental stations and global training sites will be added as the system expands.

🛠 BUILT FOR THE FUTURE. NEEDED RIGHT NOW.

SCURD Stations function at the heart of CLIMB’s Tier 3 structure—but they support all three tiers:

  • Tier 1: Deploy a mobile Reset Tent with a CLIMB Medical Team (peer-led, clinician-supervised, medically supported)

  • Tier 2: Admit individuals to structured IOP/PHP-level programming or Odysseys on site

  • Tier 3: House a co-located CLIMB Medical Team embedded in your agency or facility full-time

INTEGRATED WITH UDF + ROLL CALL TV
  • 🎙️ Undercover Dumpster Fire (UDF) tells the real stories behind the recovery

  • 🎬 Roll Call TV turns SCURD into satire that trains and entertains

  • 📖 CLIMB Protocol is the spine that holds it all together

SCURD is the heartbeat of the system — gritty, hilarious, unshakable — with protocols built to hold the weight of real trauma.
