SCURD: Southern Continental Unified Response Division

The Only Department That’s Both Satire and Solution.

SCURD started as a fictional public safety department for the comedy series Roll Call Tv — but what began as satire quickly became something more:

A mirror. A model. A mission.

SCURD now serves a dual purpose:

  1. Entertainment through the mini-series Roll Call Tv (in preproduction), created by real special operations, military veterans, and first responders.

  2. Deployment-ready infrastructure for real peer-led, trauma-informed disaster response via the CLIMB Medical Team.

WHAT IS SCURD?

SCURD is a merged department of police, fire, EMS, dispatch, and military support — born out of budget cuts and burnout, then reimagined as a new way to visually train and emotionally reset the people who run into disaster.

SCURD is fictional — but its infrastructure, philosophy, and deployments are real.

It now serves as the operational and creative umbrella for:

  • The CLIMB Medical Team

  • Peer Supporter and Peer Specialist training

  • Mobile disaster response

  • Psychological First Aid hubs

  • Creative storytelling through Roll Call TV

CLIMB MEDICAL TEAM DEPLOYMENTS

At the heart of SCURD’s real-world operations is the CLIMB Medical Team — a self-sufficient, off-grid, trauma-informed mobile response unit.

This elite team includes:

  • Peer Supporters and Certified Peer Specialists

  • Disaster Clinicians

  • Functional Medicine Providers and PTs

  • Immersive Resilience Trainers

  • Breathwork & Somatic Reset Coaching

  • Logistics and Ops Staff

  • Security-cleared Operatives for confidential missions

CLIMB Teams deploy anywhere in the world in three tiers of response:

Tier 1 – Disaster Deployment

Nervous System Reset Tents are set up as part of the Medical Branch of the NIMS, staffed by peer specialists and disaster clinicians trained in the CLIMB method, supported by a Medical Director (MD/DO). Fully off-grid, solar-powered, and diesel-backed, these mobile units provide real-time stress regulation, emotional triage, and somatic resetting in the middle of the chaos.

Tier 2 – Resort-Based Recovery Centers

These transitional Tier 2 locations provide resilience retreats and recovery centers with resort-level amenities

  • Insurance may be accepted

  • State and federally funded

  • Families welcome

  • Care before responders return home

This tier provides a safe, restorative space where military and responders can recover as humans — not robots.

Tier 3 – Future Fixed Facilities (The Stations)

These are the permanent, brick-and-mortar facilities that double as immersive resilience training centers and long-term hubs for disaster preparation and psychological first aid stations after the disasters.

Planned Tier 3 locations include:

  • Station Zero – Florida Keys (Marathon, FL)

  • Station 6.5 – South Padre Island, TX

  • Station 7600 – Monument, CO

  • Station 4091 – Big Island, Hawaii

SCURD: FICTIONAL DEPARTMENT, REAL-WORLD DEPLOYMENT

What began as a joke now functions as a visual guide for departments worldwide. SCURD shows what disaster response could look like — with regulation, nervous system resets, and peer-led care at the center.

SCURD allows trauma-exposed professionals with a real mission-first example of what it looks like to be resilient, offering:

  • A new model for public safety

  • A structure for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery

  • A resilient culture shift

  • And a healthy dose of comedy to stay human in hellish conditions

Whether you’re laughing through Roll Call Tv or crying in the reset tent…

SCURD is the department built for both. Watch for this to launch in 2026.

“Roll Call Tv is my way of using the world’s most powerful art — film — to change how we think about disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Like Bruce Lee transformed film to represent his people, I created Resilience Cinema. This is the revolution.”
